Everything you ever wanted to know about Becky Klein, but were too afraid to ask. Or something like that! :)
First, the basics: Rebecca Lynn Belmont Klein. Born November 29, 1973 to Ruth & Jim in Omaha, Nebraska. Grew up in Omaha (lived there all my life), didn't move away until I came to college at Valparaiso University (Valparaiso is a small northwestern Indiana town of around 30,000 and is about 50 miles southeast of Chicago, IL). Now I live here in Valpo with my wonderful husband Bill (love you hubby!), and my adorable daughter Haley Ruth. She was born on October 3, 2001 at 3:47am.

FAMILY

I grew up with 2 parents, 2 grandparents, and 2 brothers. The brothers, Matt & Tim, are twins! They're the 12th straight generation of twins on that side of the family, so guess who's probably next?
You can see a really cute picture of Haley above. Isn't she just the sweetest baby you've ever seen?

FRIENDS
|
I have friends scattered all over the world. Some of my closest friends aren't even in the same town as me; they're spread out to places like Dayton, OH, Washington, DC, and even to Europe.
My friends are one of the most important aspects of my life. I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for my friends! I love them all very much, and I hope they know that!

Some of my favorite things to do:
* play with my darling HaleyBug
* watch cooking shows (especially Good Eats, Food 911, and most of the Food TV shows)
* dance (I was taking ballet and jazz before Haley arrived))
* anything musical (singing, playing piano, listening to the radio or CD's)
* computers (surfing the net especially)
* read good books (if you want a recommendation let me know!)
* hang out with friends!!
* hang out with family--but I wish they'd come visit me more often!
* go shopping
* veg in front of the tv, especially with shows like "Friends," "Will & Grace," and "ER"
Groups I'm a member of:
* Sigma Alpha Iota, an international professional fraternity for women; Beta Lambda chapter of SAI, the chapter I was initiated into
* Delta Phi Kappa Sorority, a local sorority on the campus of Valparaiso University; the sorority has now affiliated with Alpha Sigma Tau; I'm currently President of the Alumnae Association
* Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority, the sorority my local sorority affiliated with; however the colony has disbanded, although luckily I was initiated before they disbanded
